The risks of continuing to engage there now outweigh the rewards, and we believe our resources are better spent amplifying fearless journalism through platforms that reflect our values.
To be clear: readers can still share our stories on X, and our reporters may occasionally use the platform for news-gathering purposes or to embed relevant content when reporting warrants it.
But Raw Story will no longer participate in promoting our journalism through a platform that increasingly serves as a megaphone for authoritarian propaganda and misinformation.
