A prominent journalist has been suspended after posting a now-deleted statement in which he took shots at White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller.

Miller has been in the news recently, including for being ridiculed in the wake of his comments about California protesters participating in an "insurrection."

Terry Moran, senior national correspondent for ABC News, hurled some allegations at Miller in a post he later deleted. That reportedly led to suspension for the journalist.

CNN's Brian Stelter reported, "Breaking: ABC News says senior national correspondent Terry Moran 'has been suspended pending further evaluation.' This since-deleted tweet is the reason for the suspension."

Stelter then included a screen shot of the statement, which claims Miller "eats his hate" and that he has a great capacity for hatred.

"He's a world-class hater," the reporter wrote.
