Republicans lost another special election on Tuesday, this time handing New York's Third District to the Democrats after disgraced former Rep. George Santos (R) was removed from office.

In his acceptance speech, Congressman-elect Tom Suozzi mocked the GOP for trying to link him to President Joe Biden and "The Squad." The centrist Democrat said it clearly didn't lead them to victory.

Former White House communications director for Donald Trump, Alyssa Farah Griffin, told her colleagues at "The View" Wednesday that the Republicans will continue to lose elections the more they dedicate themselves to Trump.

"He ran a smart race and set out a playbook for centrist Democrats to win, don't ignore the issue of voters," Griffin said about Suozzi.

However, Republicans "made it super easy for him," she explained.

"The Republicans deserve to lose because of what this House Republcian conference is doing. Juxtapose, just last week they blocked their own border security bill," she said of legislation that was negotiated by far-right Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) but blocked by Republicans in the House.

She then criticized the House GOP for impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

"That is dead on arrival in the Senate," Griffin explained. "Yet it will waste time because the Senate has to take it up even though there are no votes to impeach him in the Senate, blocking aid to Ukraine which the majority of actual living, breathing Republicans support.

"So, of course, they won't pick up seats, and this is going to continue to happen. Republicans will lose winnable races because of their fealty to Donald Trump. He has nearly destroyed the party and hasn't really won anything since 2016, and it's remarkable we're still lining up behind him."

"It makes no sense," she added.

Trump is said to be considering his daughter-in-law as a possible chair of the Republican National Committee. Analysts Charlie Sykes and Dr. Jason Johnson, Ph.D. warned that doing so would ensure more Republicans lose more races.
