Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) appeared on the right-wing podcast "The Benny Show" where he was grilled over a top adviser to President Donald Trump advocating for the arrest of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
Ocasio-Cortez launched a "Know Your Rights" campaign to help constituents looking for information amid Trump's mass deportation effort.
Tom Homan, Trump's "border czar," said the popular New York Democrat should be arrested over her fact-sheet.

“She wants to go out saying she’s teaching people their constitutional rights, yeah, you can call it that. We all know what she’s up to. She wants to tell these people how they evade arrest,” Homan said on Fox News last month.
Asked about it Monday, Scott agreed with Homan that informing people of their rights could break the law.
"It sure seems like she's violating the law," Scott said Monday. "If she's done something wrong, I hope Tom Homan does his job and prosecutes her to the full extent of the law."
Homan confessed to Fox News host Sean Hannity he asked the Justice Department to provide a reason to "start taking action."
Scott's remarks drew quick backlash from critics on social media.
"Tom Homan does not have a law enforcement job, he's a White House advisor with an invented 'border czar' job title. In addition, it would be flatly unlawful for any prosecutor to charge a person for offering 'know your rights' presentations to members of their community," pointed out former immigration lawyer Aaron Reichlin-Melnick on X.
"Voldemort wants Hermione prosecuted," quipped former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann.
"Rick Scott is the king of the Florida a--holes," said retired psychotherapist Ron Savage.
Several others pointed to Scott's own run-ins with the law.
"Rick Scott, who took the 5th 75 times when he was investigated for Medicaid fraud, says AOC 'should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law' for advising people of their rights: 'We took an oath to uphold the constitution, not to tell people how to evade the constitution,'" wrote Uncovered co-host Ron Filipkowski, a former federal and state prosecutor..
Financial expert Randolph Duke also highlighted details about the largest healthcare fraud case in U.S. history.
