Former GOP strategist Rick Wilson on Thursday gloated over organizers of the January 6th "Stop the Steal" rally getting subpoenaed by the House select committee investigating the Capitol riots.

Shortly after news broke that former President Donald Trump had instructed his aides to ignore the subpoenas, Wilson mocked the former president for believing he could still invoke "executive privilege" despite the fact that he's now a private citizen.

"I hold the same amount of executive privilege as Donald Trump right now," he wrote. "Which is to say, 'f*ck all.'"

Wilson got even more giddy after news broke that the committee had subpoenaed Ali Alexander, a top "Stop the Steal" organizer who boasted that he "schemed" with three Republican lawmakers to put "maximum pressure" on Congress to vote against certifying the election.

"Every person who got within a mile of the Stop the Steal scam is going to go through some things," he wrote. "Including sh*tbird Ali Alexander and that herpetic fop Roger Stone."

He also jokingly described how he would handle Trump allies who refused to appear before the committee.

"I'd like to offer a modest proposal for those who wish to defy the subpoenas," he wrote. "Door number one: the hearing room. Door number two: a courtyard where you'll be handed a blindfold and offered a cigarette before seven men do their work. But I'm made of sterner stuff than most."
