There might be a congressional pink slip in his stocking.

The former communications director for indicted Rep. George Santos (R-NY) is convinced that his days in office are numbered.

"I would not be surprised if he is even gone before Christmas," said Naysa Woomer, former communications director for the floundering Santos, during an appearance on MSNBC's "The Beat" with Ari Melber.

Her hunch comes on the day that a damning House Ethics Committee report went public finding the congressman committed fraud and other crimes.

In its report, the evidence showed that Santos "sought to fraudulently exploit every aspect of his House candidacy for his own personal financial profit."

The lawmaker is also defending himself against a federal case that involves charges of wire fraud and money laundering, as well as identity theft and credit card fraud.

"The ISC determined there was substantial evidence of violations of federal law, House Rules, and other applicable standards related to many of the allegations charged in the indictment, and substantial evidence of additional uncharged unlawful and unethical conduct," said the report, adding that Santos "was an active and knowing participant in a scheme to falsely report personal loans during his 2022 campaign" and that systematic errors in his campaign finance reporting were "part of an overall scheme to avoid transparency about his campaign’s finances."

Last week, Santos sounded victory bells after staving off expulsion when the chamber voted 179-213-19 on the Republican-led resolution to expel the congressman — falling below the two-thirds needed.

Woomer is convinced with the report, there's enough ammunition to mount an effort to oust Santos.

"I think especially between Republicans and the 31 Democrats who had voted a week ago to keep him in — only because they wanted to wait and see what the ethics report did indeed have — now I think it's given both parties enough information to proceed with an expulsion."

Already, Santos has come forward to declare that he will not run for reelection.
