Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer returned to the White House on Monday after his seven-month stint in 2017. While Spicer was on the other side of the podium, he questioned Karoline Leavitt about why the White House is doing interviews with so-called "unfriendly" reporters when there are others on the right who are eager to speak with him.
Spicer now has a streaming show affiliated with Mark Halperin's 2WayTV.
"He's baaaaaaack," said Daily Kos staff reporter Emily C. Singer, including a screen capture of Spicer from "Dancing with the Stars" clad in tight white pants and a ruffled neon green blouse.
Independent journalist Aaron Rupar recalled that Spicer's Newsmax show was canceled two years ago. He celebrated the so-called "new media" briefing.
"This briefing is, thus far, very MAGA-friendly. Sean Spicer is among those attending," remarked NPR's Danielle Kurtzleben.

It prompted a flood of GIFs from "Saturday Night Live" in which actress Melissa McCarthy played an angry, violent Spicer who attacked the press with a podium on wheels and used props to explain things to reporters she insulted as "stinking" and "stupid," particularly New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush.
McCarthy won an Emmy for her role as Spicer in 2017.
Netherlands journalist Eric Arends wrote in Dutch on X, "The cringe of the ‘journalists’ who are allowed to ask questions to the press secretary under the # Trump regime is unparalleled."
Pennsylvania Capital Star correspondent Nick Field couldn't even figure out where the event was held, noting that it certainly wasn't the White House press briefing room.
"Who are any of these people?" asked national security lawyer Bradley P. Moss.
The political video and commentary account Blue Georgia asked, "Is this an SNL skit?"
Others began posting their favorite videos from SNL's depiction of Spicer.
