Woman shoots 2 would-be burglars after finding them in her home: report

A woman in Philadelphia shot two would-be burglars as they broke into her home, ABC 6 reported.

The incident took place early Sunday when the woman came home to her Philadelphia apartment and found four men inside.

During the confrontation, the woman managed to shoot two of the men as they were fleeing the scene.

When police arrived, they found one of the men, identified as 48-year-old Jermaine Parker, lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital.

A second man, identified as 45-year-old Randy Miller, was found by police a short time later suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. He was also transported to the hospital.

They were both charged with burglary and other related offenses.
