SNL takes on the Super Bowl -- and its politics -- in cold open sketch

Comedian Dan Levy hosted "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday, with Phoebe Bridgers as the musical guest.

In the show's cold open skit, the show imagined the Super Bowl pre-game show on CBS.

"Hello, and welcome to the Super Bowl, four hours of television for eleven minutes of action," James Brown said.

He was joined by Boomer Esiason, Bill Cowher, Nate Burleson and Phil Simms as they mocked the chaotic era.

The group took aim at the commercials, including a Cheez-it ad for social justice and a QAnon, pizzagate ad for Papa Murphys. And a Budweiser ad on vaccination and another anti-vax ad from the beer company.
