A pair of MAGA personalities threatened to exact "retribution" after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was gunned down during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
Steve Bannon, one of President Donald Trump's top advisors during his first administration, and MAGA commentator Jack Posobiec talked about Kirk's killing on a recent episode of the "Bannon's WarRoom" podcast.
"There's never going to be another Charlie Kirk," Posobiec said in one clip circulated on social media. "But, you know what else? There's never going to be another assassin to take out someone like the way they did because what comes next will be swift, quick, and it will be retribution."
Political leaders on both sides of the aisle expressed condolences after Kirk was killed, with some calling for more moderate political rhetoric in the U.S.
Bannon argued in another clip that Kirk "gave his life on the political battlefield."
"We're not going to back off an inch," Bannon said. "If you're gonna back off, then this is not for you."
