‘Nazi judges’: Steve Bannon attacks ‘kangaroo courts’ hearing Trump cases
Real America's Voice/screen grab

Conservative podcast host Steve Bannon on Monday compared former President Donald Trump's court trials to Nazi judges.

Bannon's remarks came as a Colorado judge was holding a hearing to determine if Trump led a Jan. 6 insurrection that would prevent him from appearing on the state's ballot.

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

"You had to see what's going ahead, to see the nonsense in this court," Bannon said after airing a portion of the hearing. "You're watching something that no one in America would ever thought would have happened, and that is kangaroo courts every bit as deadly as the Nazi judges and in Stalin's show trials on those two regimes that's come to the United States of America."

"And the only way we're going to stop it is to defeat these people," he went on. "There's no compromise here. You can't compromise on this. One side's gonna win, and one side's gonna lose.

"And they understand that if Trump's name's on a ballot, he wins, and if he wins, you win. So they're gonna do everything now to take him off every ballot."
