MAGA influencer Steve Bannon expressed opposition to extending President Donald Trump's tax cuts that primarily benefit the highest income earners.
During a Thursday rant on his War Room program, Bannon said he supported specific policies like no tax on tips, overtime, or Social Security.
"I am not a fan of the corporate tax cut right now," he revealed. "The reason is they gamed the system last time. They didn't put in a capital equipment."
"And I'm totally opposed to [tax cuts] for the rich," the host continued. "I can walk through any set of analysis that we just don't have the money. And the working class and middle class need it. This is why there's so many MAGA people."
Bannon tied his argument to the need for Medicaid.
"There's so many so many folks on Medicaid," he pointed out. "They don't want to be on Medicaid. Nobody wants to be on Medicaid."

"They have to be on Medicaid because the companies aren't paying for the insurance," Bannon said. "We haven't [had] any real wage growth. People are working like crazy — people working two and three jobs... It's a racket."
"Somebody's got to be the reality check here."
