A California Democrat couldn't stomach President Donald Trump's remarks to Congress late Tuesday, calling his speech "shameful" in a statement accompanied with a profane post to social media.
Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-CA) wrote about 45 minutes into Trump's speech that she had to leave — and did so "on behalf of California's 37th district."
"There's only so much bulls--- a person can tolerate," she wrote on X.
In a statement, Kamlager-Dove said she made the decision to attend Trump's address to ensure lawmakers who have Americans' "best interests at heart would have a presence in the audience."

"However, what I witness tonight was shameful," she added. "I walked out of the Joint Address on behalf of the people of California's 37th District — and because there is only so much bulls--- that a person can tolerate."
Kamlager-Dove took aim at Trump for entering the House chamber, looking them "in the eyes" and "[lying] straight to our faces." Her district, she said, has the fourth-largest Medicaid enrollment in the country.
"How dare he tell the 56% of my constituents who rely on Medicaid that their benefits are safe when his top legislative priority is cutting federal health care funding by up to $2.5 trillion," she raged.
"I won't sit down and watch as he slashes the programs that keep my constituents alive so he can turn his Billionaire Boys Club into the Trillionaire Boys Club," she continued.
Kamlager-Dove demanded Trump "stop the lies, stop the cheating, and stop the stealing — enough is enough."
"America deserves better," she concluded.
Kamlager-Dove's walk-out came after a contentious clash between the two parties, with Rep. Al Green (D-TX) being escorted from Congress for interrupting the president.
