Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) disputed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on live TV after he said she would vote to confirm all of President-elect Donald Trump's nominees.

During a Tuesday interview on CBNC, Klobuchar and Cruz discussed the importance of the bipartisan Take It Down Act, a bill to outlaw non-consensual intimate imagery generated by artificial intelligence.

CNBC host Joe Kernan changed the subject to ask Klobuchar if she would vote to confirm Tulsi Gabbard as Trump's director of national intelligence.

"Amy told me she's voting for all of Trump's nominees," Cruz interrupted.

"Stop!" Klobuchar laughed. "The last time I voted for half his nominees on the cabinet because I carefully reviewed each one and made decisions, and I just don't think you should give a president a blank slate when, in fact, we are supposed to advise and consent and have an oath that we take ourselves to protect the Constitution."
