FBI Director Kash Patel announced Friday that his agency thwarted a “potential terrorist attack” that was planned for Halloween weekend, making several arrests in connection to the alleged plot.
“This morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend,” Patel wrote in a social media post on X. “More details to come. Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland.”
Details as to the potential terrorist attack were scarce Friday morning.
