A MAGA Republican put Democrats on notice Tuesday evening to not get in his face during President Donald Trump's address to Congress.

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) joined right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson for a livestream of Johnson's eponymous show ahead of Trump's highly-anticipated speech to lawmakers.

As Democrats prepare their response to Trump — with many already vowing to snub the president's speech entirely — Johnson asked Burchett how he'll respond if Democrats start to "act a fool."

"You gonna boo 'em?" asked Johnson.

"I think we just need to ignore them because that's what they want," replied Burchett. "They want a reaction."

But then Burchett made an eyebrow-raising comment.

"If they get in my face, I'll drop 'em like a bad habit," he added. "They ain't gonna get in my daggum face."

The response earned a laugh and a fist bump from Johnson.

"All right congressman!" exclaimed Johnson.

"Was that on the air? I'm sorry I didn't —" Burchett joked.

"That's something that's absolutely going to be clipped out there on social media, by our team first! Don't you worry!" Johnson said.

Johnson entered Congress in 2019 and Burchett has served on several committees, including the House Committees on Oversight and Accountability, Foreign Affairs, and Transportation and Infrastructure.

Last month, CNN was forced to pull the plug on an interview with the congressman that devolved into a shouting match.

Before that, Burchett clashed with former CNN anchor Jim Acosta on air.
