Former GOP operative Tim Miller laid into Trump's plans to reform "fraud" in the government on the latest Bulwark Podcast on Monday.

Miller, a frequent conservative critic and the current trajectory of the Republican Party, highlighted what he sees as hypocrisy in how Trump has presented himself to the American people.

"The idea that it is a priority for President Trump to root out fraud is just beyond farcical," he said. "It flies in the face of everything that we know about Donald Trump."

"Donald Trump's whole career has been premised on leveraging fraud successfully," said Miller. "He lied about how much money he was worth in businesses, The Apprentice is a farce ... like, Trump's whole life has been a fraud. Trump loves fraud! What are you talking about?"

To believe Trump would be in any position to fight fraud, Miller continued, would mean you'd have to be like a "baby born yesterday."

Trump has faced a number of fraud lawsuits over the years, ranging from running a fake university that cheated people out of thousands of dollars, to more recently a massive civil case in New York that found Trump liable for half a billion dollars for cheating insurance and tax agencies and keeping two sets of books.

The president has never admitted to engaging in any sort of wrongdoing and claims all legal action against him is a political conspiracy to target him.
