A former GOP strategist on Sunday slammed "extremely alarming" claims made by former Fox News host Megyn Kelly over the weekend.

Tim Miller, host of the conservative news outlet The Bulwark's eponymous podcast, and Kelly have been feuding over the details of an MSNBC investigation that revealed President Donald Trump's border czar, Tom Homan, was caught up in a bribery scandal in which he allegedly accepted a $50,000 bribe from an undercover FBI agent in exchange for helping the agent win government contracts.

"I know that hearing about the details of a Twitter feud is kind of like hearing about somebody's fantasy football team's loss," Miller said. "In this case, it's a little bit of an exception, Not because I think you care about the blow-by-blow of my feud with Megan Kelly, but because the arguments that she is making are extremely alarming and they're psychotic, but they're also alarming."

Kelly and Miller engaged in a back-and-forth on X on Saturday night. In one of her responses to Miller, Kelly said, "We don’t care what you say about Tom Homan. We do not trust you. We only care about defeating you."

Miller characterized Kelly's response to the MSNBC report as "we do not care" and that "corruption doesn't matter." He added that Kelly's argument is "chilling," and that it reveals that some "really scary stuff" lies ahead.

"Megyn Kelly thinks you can act with impunity, and she's just extremely blunt about that," Miller said.

"Is there like anything that someone in the Trump administration could do that Megan Kelly would object to?" Miller added. "And I think the answer is basically no as long as it advances their mission."
