Rep. Thomas Massie on Sunday questioned why Donald Trump dismissed the Jeffrey Epstein scandal as a "hoax" even though Speaker Mike Johnson appeared to suggest the former president had served as an FBI “informant” in the case. Massie, pressed by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, said the remarks didn’t add up and called on Johnson to clarify his claim, noting that if Trump had truly cooperated with Epstein victims’ lawyers, it made little sense for him to now wave off the scandal as fake.
