Trump has full-on freak out as he's triggered over 5-year old report: 'Demand an apology!'

President Donald Trump erupted at CBS News reporter Lesley Stahl Monday over her coverage of a controversial incident in 2020, demanding that she issue him “a complete and total APOLOGY.”

Trump apparently watched CBS News’ Sunday episode of “60 Minutes” featuring Stahl interviewing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), sparking him to take to social media to attack “Trump-hating” Stahl who he insisted “still owes me an apology.”

“Stahl still owes me an apology from when she attacked me on the show (with serious conviction!), that Hunter Biden’s LAPTOP FROM HELL was produced by Russia, not Hunter himself (TOTALLY PROVEN WRONG!),” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.

“I hereby demand a complete and total APOLOGY, though far too late to be meaningful, from Lesley Stahl and 60 Minutes for her incorrect and Libelous statements about Hunter’s Laptop!!!”

Former President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden reportedly left his laptop at a computer repair shop in Delaware in late 2019, the owner of which received a federal subpoena from the FBI to surrender the device. The store owner had reportedly made a copy of the laptop’s hard drive, however, and given a copy of it to a lawyer for Trump-ally Rudy Giuliani.

The laptop’s hard drive contained tens of thousands of emails to and from Hunter Biden, some of which contained damning information that contradicted remarks from Biden, particularly Biden’s claim that he had never spoken to his son about his work with the Ukrainian energy firm Buirisma, for which he was allegedly paid between $50,000 and $80,000 a month for.

Major media outlets, including CBS News, however, cast doubt at the time on the authenticity of the emails, something that apparently still irritates Trump to this day.

Trump also attacked the new leadership at Paramount – which is now owned by Skydance Media, controlled by alleged Trump-ally David Ellison – for even airing Sunday’s episode, claiming the show to have “actually gotten worse” since the acquisition.

“My real problem with the show, however, wasn’t the low IQ traitor, it was that the new ownership of 60 Minutes, Paramount, would allow a show like this to air,” Trump wrote.

“THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE OLD OWNERSHIP, who just paid me millions of Dollars for FAKE REPORTING about your favorite President, ME! Since they bought it, 60 Minutes has actually gotten WORSE! Oh well, far worse things can happen.”
