Donald Trump and his campaign befuddled observers over the weekend by reportedly releasing a fundraising email that raised more questions than it answered.

"It's Trump. I'm in the Oval Office, & I can't stop thinking about you," the email said, according to several individuals who received it.

The email raised some suspicions online, perhaps in part because of the "can't stop thinking about you" language.

Janice Hough, a self-described "proud Dem," said, "Trump fundraising email tonight - Sat, Jan 17 at 5:13 PM 'It's Trump. I'm in the Oval Office, & I can't stop thinking about you.'"

Hough added, "Except he's at Mar-A-Lago. Losing track of where you are is a sign of advanced dementia..."

Axios reporter Andrew Solender posted a screenshot from his inbox:

"I'm in the Oval Office, and I can't stop thinking about you," the subject said.
