Former President Donald Trump has already decided on his choice for a vice presidential running mate, according to one of his top confidants, Sebastian Gorka.
Gorka, who served in the Trump administration as deputy assistant to the president, was asked about the VP choice during an interview with right-wing host Charlie Kirk.
"Okay, you put me in a tough position right now, Charlie," Gorka said. "I know who it is. I know who the president's chosen, and I've been sworn to secrecy. The interesting thing is, it's an amazing choice."
"It's somebody nobody's talking about," he continued, noting that Trump "has the prerogative to change his mind."
Gorka offered a few more clues about who the president had chosen.

"Until I found out, I loved the idea of somebody like Byron Donalds," he explained. "I think he'd be a rock star. Kari Lake. Even Tim Scott."
"But at the moment, my lips are sealed," Gorka remarked.
"So, so it's not somebody that we're thinking of?" Kirk asked.
"And no, no, it's not," Gorka replied. "It's somebody who's proven himself in Congress. But that's as far as I'm going to go."
