“America is pissed,” Rick Wilson said in his latest “elephant in the room” segment.

The conservative went through the latest polling numbers, calling them “a systemic collapse happening across every public and private poll.”

It’s not just top-level approval; the “cataclysmic fall off” includes the economy. “He is in the ditch,” Wilson commented.

Citing a Fox News poll, 56% disapproval of Trump's handling of the economy, Wilson claimed, Trump has “shot himself in the d— repeatedly. Now I know that's a technical term you don't frequently hear in serious polling discussions, but Trump continues to do the things that will cause these numbers to go down.

One example he pointed to was from Thursday, “[Trump] had a perfect opportunity to fix one of these problems. He's sitting there in this discussion [about the economy], and they say ‘Mr. President, is it true that like Scott Bessent said, 'You're going to lower auto tariffs.’ And Trump goes out and says, 'No, I'm raising them.'"

“Right now the stock market is playing this crackhead game with Trump,” Wilson said of the exchange. “Everything Scott Bessent says, ‘Oh, we're going to do this, this, and this.’ And the market soars. Then Trump goes out s---- the bed and the market dives again.”

The trade war has hit many Americans very hard, and Wilson criticized Trump’s “feckless and wild-haired” attitude about the process. “The supply chain is completely bonked.”

“You start a trade war like this, and the other countries get a vote.” Wilson believes the other countries have “voted to not take Trump's negotiating tactics seriously. They have voted to tell Trump to go f— himself. They have voted to hurt America by hurting Trump. He gave China the greatest gift he could have given them.”
