Former President Donald Trump had to be corrected by a FOX News host when he appeared to mistake President Joe Biden for his predecessor former President Barack Obama while critiquing America's response to the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
The 45th president appeared on FOX & Friends Co-host Brian Kilmeade's radio program on Thursday discussing a range of topics.
Early on, Trump pounced on the White House for its soft stance on Iran and assured if he were president the war raging in the Middle East "would never have happened."

He then mocked the Biden administration for telegraphing its strategies publicly and started railing against the 2020 election results.
"That horrible date," he said. "That horrible result. That was a disgraceful -- [it was] a disgrace to our country."
"It will go down in infamy what's happened to our country since then..."
He then blamed former President Obama -- not President Biden -- for the bloody feud engulfing the region.
"Brian it's all coming through Iran -- and Obama doesn't want to talk about it," Trump said. "He doesn't even mention it in a statement. It's all coming through Iran."
Kilmeade interjected: "But you mean president Biden. So uh but right now--"
But Trump then continued to clarify that he indeed meant not only Biden but Obama as well.
"No I also mean Obama, I mean Biden," the former president said. "I mean Obama is Biden's boss."
"I don't think Biden knows what's happening. I think Obama is calling these shots. And he's always felt this way about Iran; there's no question about that."
"I think Obama -- and Obama's people -- are calling the shots, not Biden," he then added.
Kilmeade again tried to understand exactly what Trump was intending to get at with mentioning Obama as a president in absentia.
"This is just what your gut tells you, but you don't have any proof President Obama is calling the shots," Kilmeade told Trump.
Trump confirmed it was a gut feeling, but then proudly rattled off why his gut has been flawless.
"No, it's my gut -- but my gut's been right about everything," he said with a chuckle.
The president continued: "They have an expression out there: 'Trump's been right about everything!' You take a look -- go down the list -- we've been right about everything. We were right about the wall, we were right about all the people pouring into our country. We were right about Ukraine. We were right about everything...There are a lot of people from Obama in the administration who circle the Oval Office desk -- the resolute desk -- and it's one of those things. Whether that's the case or it's Biden -- we're in a mess. It's a mess and should not have happened."
