A sleepy President Donald Trump again appeared to nod off, this time during a White House Cabinet roundtable on Monday afternoon.

The 79-year-old president, who could barely keep his eyes open during a Cabinet meeting last week, again struggled to stay awake during a gathering in which Trump announced a multibillion-dollar aid package for U.S. farmers affected by his trade policies. When Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins began going into detail about the initiative, Trump struggled to pay attention, The Daily Beast reported.

The report showed his head tilted toward Rollins and his eyes closed. Trump's head dipped forward before he suddenly jerked back awake.

"His struggle to stay awake carried on, his eyelids drooping and fluttering open again as Rollins detailed how $11 billion would be directed to her department’s new assistance program for farmers," the Beast noted.

Trump snapped awake and abruptly interjected, correcting, "It's $12 billion." When Rollins corrected him on the breakdown, Trump responded, "Ahh, very tricky."

White House Assistant Press Secretary Liz Huston tore into the Beast, saying in a statement, "The Daily Beast is a trash publication spreading lies daily about President Trump."

Trump's penchant for taking a snooze has caught the attention of late-night comedians and other talk-show hosts, including ABC's Jimmy Kimmel, who last week dubbed the president "Dozy Donald."
