Over a month after the attack on the U.S. Capitol, Donald Trump still hasn't shown any regret for what happened and his relationship with his former vice president, Mike Pence, is still strained. That's according to advisers to the former president who spoke to CNN this Thursday.

The source also told CNN that Trump has not expressed remorse for "putting Pence in a harrowing situation" when the two recently met to discuss the events of Jan. 6.

"That's not his style," the source said.

Another source close to Trump told CNN that the facts presented in the impeachment case against him are "really bad," adding that the new video surveillance footage of the attack was "undeniably powerful."

"When asked if Trump has any remorse, the source laughed and said that to Trump there's no greater offense than saying 'sorry,'" CNN reports.
