Former President Donald Trump will reportedly return to a New York courtroom on the same day former fixer Michael Cohen is set to testify against him.
Sources told The Messenger's Marc Caputo that Trump would be in court on Tuesday following a rally in Iowa on Monday.
"He wants to be there. This is his personal business, his family business. So it cuts a little closer," one source said. "He wants to be there to take a stand and show people he's not backing down."
POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?
The courtroom appearance comes as Cohen is expected to testify in the fraud trial.
"It's been five years since we have seen one another," Cohen said in a statement. "I look forward to the reunion."
Trump and others have been accused of manipulating the value of assets to obtain favorable loan and insurance agreements.
Trump recently dropped a lawsuit that sought to prevent Cohen's testimony.
