Donald Trump on Thursday notched yet another legal loss when he voluntarily dismissed a lawsuit against his former lawyer and "fixer" Michael Cohen..
Trump had been scheduled to attend a deposition in the lawsuit. For his part, Cohen has been taunting his prior boss about the deposition on social media.
Now, it appears Trump has decided it's not worth the trouble.
POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?
MSNBC host and legal contributor Katie Phang announced the filing on social media.
"BREAKING NEWS: Donald Trump has voluntarily dismissed his SDFL lawsuit against Michael Cohen. Of course right before his deposition on Monday, no less," Phang said on Thursday. "I guess Trump didn’t want to answer questions under oath…"
Cohen himself posted about the news as well.
In the comments on that post, the group Republicans against Trump posted, "Great news. Another Trump loss."
