Donald Trump on Friday held a gathering at a Dairy Queen after an Iowa campaign rally in Council Bluffs, and, according to the former president, it was Blizzards for all.
“Everybody wants a Blizzard. What the hell is a Blizzard?!” Trump asked.
Trump is shown in a video that aide Steven Cheung posted on Twitter.
“Is the fake news having a good time,” Trump tells supporters. “I hope you liked the speech, a lot of passion, a lot of passion.”
But amid a festive crowd enjoying ice cream Trump shared his grim assessment of America, which he promised to reverse.
“I want to see our country brought back,” he said. “Our country is not doing well but it will be doing well very soon.”
His appearance drew mixed reactions on the social media site.
“I love it! And I love my President!❤️❤️💯❤️❤️,” Twitter user @TheSmithgal1wrote.
Twitter user @Carolina_Pines1 saw it differently, writing, “Did he skip out on the check? He did, didn’t he.”
Twitter user @carolyn_from posted a transcript of Trump’s indictment on allegations he mishandled classified documents.
Trump at the end of the video is seen handing out large red plastic spoons after telling the crowd that the “country is going to hell.”
He then picks up a large cup from the counter and says to the laughter of the crowd, “I’m taking this one myself.”
