Donald Trump on Tuesday evening bragged that one of his political endorsements had prevailed, resulting in outcries from MAGA fans who have rejected the individual.
Trump, fresh off his interview with the world's richest man, X's Elon Musk, took to Truth Social to remind his supporters that someone he endorsed won.
Trump posted an image that simply states, "U.S. Representative Tom Emmer wins! Endorsed by President Trump!"

Although no details were provided, Trump was likely referencing reports saying Emmer had become the winner of the Republican nomination for U.S. House in Minnesota's 6th Congressional District in the primary Tuesday.
What the Truth Social post doesn't say is that Trump had opposed Emmer when he was vying for the House Speaker position, which he ultimately lost as a result of the ex-president's intervention.
MAGA fans did not forget about that. Having already spoken up against endorsing Emmer, many of Trump's biggest fans continued to express displeasure.
@Faithful1977, who ReTruths Trump's campaign posts on his own page, replied with, "Emmer is a RINO," which means, "Republican in Name Only."
@saveourshores, whose page is filled with content from Trump allies and supporters, said, "Sadly — Emmer is a weak RINO."
@MNPatriot1776, who identifies as a "female Christian patriot" and whose page is filled with Trump ReTruths and catchphrases, said, "RINO POS!!!" along with vomiting emojis.
"You can have the POS! Not MAGA, Maybe even worse than a RINO!" wrote @RiseUp_MAGA, who has a Trump "fight" image in profile.
@Minuteman2016, whose page is filled with pro-Trump material, then called Emmer a, "SUPER RINO+++-."
@walmdogx5, who shares a lot of Trump's material, said, "We need to get rid of Tom Emmer."
"I’m on the fence about this Emmer guy!" the user added.
