'Dastardly': Ex-GOP lawmaker says 'diehard MAGA' now believes 'hideous' Trump-Epstein link

Even the most "die-hard" MAGA supporter is now confident Donald Trump has strong connections with Jeffrey Epstein, according to a former GOP lawmaker.

Former "Tea Party" Republican Rep. Denver Riggleman (VA), a Trump-skeptic Republican who helped assist the House Select Committee on January 6 with its investigation into the president's actions, has previously sounded the alarm about purportedly dangerous Republicans rising to power.

On Saturday, he appeared on MS NOW, where he was asked about the latest devastating leak of Trump-Epstein photographs.

"Looking at frequency analysis, looking at follow the money. There's also something here that's very, what's the best word I have, dastardly, hideous," he said. "And the fact is how many pictures with Epstein do we hit as far as a threshold for Republicans to say that maybe Trump and Epstein were friends? I mean, where are we at here? And it's just ludicrous. But I do think this is a money specific type of crime. And I know we've got to judge each person independently, right? We're looking at these pictures and things of that nature."

Riggleman added, "I do think right now these pictures are so awful because... look at Trump's lying. That's happened so often. So he's been lying about his relationships. He's lied over and over again."

"And I do believe right now when you're looking at what's happening across our country, I think even Republicans, those who are die-hard MAGA, are saying we are now sort of... we've crossed the threshold," the ex-lawmaker concluded. "We've crossed the Rubicon into where it looks like Donald Trump was very engaged with some of the worst, child rapists and child traffickers we've ever seen."
