Telling sign flagged that Trump is hiding something on Epstein: 'All traces back to him'

A former CNN anchor flagged the most telling sign that President Donald Trump has something to hide regarding his ties to disgraced financier and convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein.

Jim Acosta, host of "The Jim Acosta Show" on Substack, said during an interview with John Byrne on a new episode of the "Raw America" podcast on Thursday that Trump's move to fire former Attorney General Pam Bondi and replace her with Todd Blanche, the deputy attorney general and Trump's former personal attorney, "kind of tells you what's going on." He pointed to Blanche's recent appearance on Fox News, where he argued that the Trump Department of Justice has no more Epstein files to release, which contradicts what his predecessor has said about the files.

"I'm thinking to myself: listen to how he couched that in a very lawyerly way. It makes it sound as though perhaps there's something being held back," Acosta said. "Is it Donald Trump's defense lawyer's job to be in charge of releasing the Epstein files? And why was Pam Bondi all of a sudden fired right before she was supposed to testify before the House Oversight Committee? Oops — by the way, she can't testify anymore."

"We need to know what those other files are. Todd Blanche needs to be grilled: what are those files? What is in those files? Have you looked at those files? There are apparently 3 million or so files that haven't been released. What is in them?" he continued. I think Donald Trump, Todd Blanche — these folks need to be grilled like cats on a hot tin roof on exactly what is being held back. Because it seems to me it all traces back to Donald Trump. And if there wasn't anything to hide, we'd have all the material released. There's got to be something. That's what my spidey sense tells me — there must be something they're holding back."
