White House goes nuclear on Epstein report detailing Trump rape claims

The White House lashed out Monday after House Democrats released a devastating report detailing allegations of sexual misconduct involving President Donald Trump and the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

White House communications director Steven Cheung called the report, which comes just eight days before the midterm elections, a politically motivated attack.

“Complete b-----t,” Cheung wrote on X. “This is what the media and Democrats do right before every election cycle-- peddle lies and ridiculous accusations against the President for political gain.”

He added that “the American people see right through this garbage.”

Cheung was responding to a Time magazine post highlighting new details from a woman who alleged Trump raped her in 1993.

In a statement to Time, the White House denied the allegations and said Trump has been “fully exonerated of anything related to Epstein.” White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis called the report “nothing more than a desperate attempt by crazed Democrats to distract Americans.”

The 53-page report from Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee details allegations involving 11 women, including five who accused Trump of rape or sexual assault in Epstein’s company or presence. The allegations have not been proven in court.

Democrats also accused Trump’s Justice Department of shutting down investigations and withholding evidence while insisting there was no basis to investigate Epstein’s possible accomplices.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), the committee’s ranking member, said “an independent special counsel must investigate Epstein’s co-conspirators and DOJ’s cover-up and ensure that state and foreign prosecutors have the evidence they need to pursue justice.”

Trump has repeatedly denied wrongdoing involving Epstein.
