Donald Trump's character made a return to Saturday Night Live Sunday as the show celebrated its 51st anniversary — and tied the president to convicted child abuser Jeffrey Epstein.
James Austin Johnson opened the episode in his Trump character, making references to late-night TV drama, as well as the president's bruised hand.
"I'm going to cover this up for the rest of my life," the Trump character said, hiding his right hand, which had a visible circular marking.
Midway through the opening, Trump addressed Colin Jost, saying, "Oh, and Colin, may every day be another wonderful secret!"
Trump then turns to the audience and explains, "That was a quote from a poem I wrote to a horrible man I've never met before."
The quote is from a real letter purportedly sent from Trump to disgraced financier Epstein for inclusion in a birthday book. Trump has denied he wrote the letter.
