President Donald Trump boasted about the performance of the economy on the tarmac to reporters on Friday, proclaiming that "The economy is doing incredibly from the standpoint of Wall Street."

But commenters on social media couldn't help noticing his hair was a complete mess, appearing to be a far cry from the strangely full head of hair he has recently sported.

"No wig today," wrote Juliet Jeske of Decoding Fox News.

"Did he just open the Ark of the Covenant?" wrote blogger Jim Stewartson, referencing the infamous scene from the first Indiana Jones movie in which the spirits of the Ark melted off Nazis' faces.

"Leader of the free curl," wrote commentator Kahlief Adams.

"But the hair," wrote attorney Jeffrey Evan Gold.

"Hair's got a mind of its own today," wrote Cultivated News' Jeremy Burke.
