On The Daily Beast Podcast, analyst David Rothkopf argued that Trump’s visible decline has Washington taking notice, even as top allies like JD Vance and Marco Rubio jockey for position as the president nods off beside them at events. Rothkopf said Trump’s increasingly desperate push to rename major institutions after himself reflects a leader who fears he is “shuffling off this mortal coil sooner rather than later.”
