Former Trump White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham on Monday said she was not surprised to learn that former President Donald Trump allegedly didn't care that he'd put Vice President Mike Pence's life in danger.

Appearing on CNN, Grisham was asked what she made of testimony claiming that Trump responded by saying, "So what?" after he was informed that Pence had to be rushed away from the Senate chamber on January 6th, 2021 due to threats from Trump-incited rioters.

"It absolutely tracks with everything I've experienced and heard," Grisham replied.

Host Phil Mattingly then zeroed in on testimony from Trump aide Nick Luna, who said that Trump's flippant response to Pence's situation showed he was willing to let even his most loyal political allies be physically harmed.

Grisham again said that this testimony lined up with everything she knew about her one-time boss.

"He had no regard for anybody but himself that day," she charged. "Nick Luna, that's another example of somebody who was by the president's side... Nick's a good guy, I believe that what he said was true and I believe that, you know, he'd be somebody who'd definitely cooperate and I'm really glad to hear it."
