President Donald Trump jumped on his Truth Social platform Tuesday evening to rage against a prominent CNN anchor who has often created embarrassments for him.

"Very dumb and unhappy Fake News CNN 'reporter,' Kaitlan Collins (really low ratings, also!), had a panel where discussions were all FICTION AND LIES," said Trump. "You would think that CNN, which is suffering terribly in the TV Ratings, would get rid of their 3rd-rate 'anchors,' and try to bring credibility back to their once-storied network. It is fading FAST!"

"See you all at the Republican National Convention tomorrow night!!!" Trump added.

It is unclear what panel Trump is talking about, as Collins' show airs around an hour and a half after Trump's rant dropped.

However, the president has singled out Collins for a vendetta in the past, as she frequently hits him with tough questions and, according to some insiders, because he believes she wouldn't have her career without him.

A CNN spokesperson defended Collins in a statement to RawStory.

“Kaitlan Collins is an exceptional journalist, reporting every day from the White House and the field with real depth and tenacity. She skillfully brings that reporting to the anchor chair and CNN platforms every day, which audiences around the world know they can trust," the spokesperson said.
