A legal ally of Donald Trump said that his advisory group is "keeping a list."

Former GOP staffer Mike Davis has made headlines for his social media comments in the past, and was rumored to be on Trump's list for attorney general. He has also threatened to make Senate Republicans' lives "hell" if they work against Trump.

On Saturday, Davis turned his attention to his fellow lawyers.

"Dear Law Firms and Attorneys," Davis posted on X over the weekend. "President Trump is nominating even more bold and fearless judges in his second term."

He then added, "They are exceptional picks."

Davis goes on to drop what some interpreted as a threat.

"We are keeping a list of those who support, oppose, and remain silent," he said.

Davis signed the post with "Article 3 Project," in reference to his Article III Project, which has purportedly shared its lists of potential judicial picks with the Trump administration.

Davis later shared a post that said, "Radical left corporate lawfare is one of the gravest threats to our liberty," in reference to lawyers who represent the wrongly deported Maryland man, Kilmar Ábrego García, who was purportedly sent to El Salvador in error.
