'It rattles him': Source claims Biden's 'loser' taunt is getting under Trump's skin

If former President Donald Trump hates to be called anything, it's a loser.

With this in mind, President Joe Biden has repeatedly labeled him as such in speeches where he reminds Trump that he lost both the popular vote and the electoral college in the 2020 election.

And now one source to Trump has confirmed to CNN that the "loser" taunt is bothering Trump, who infamously boasted to his followers in 2016 that they would "get tired" from so much winning going on during his presidency.

"I do think he’s trying to get under his skin, and I think it’s the smartest thing the Biden campaign has done yet,” the source told CNN. “It rattles him and takes him off message.”

The report goes on to note that the Biden campaign has good strategic reasons to label Trump a loser, given that he obsessively monitors media coverage of himself and that polling has showed that his continued denial of the 2020 election results is one of his biggest political vulnerabilities.

But in addition to the strategic benefit of calling Trump a loser, CNN's sources say Biden personally finds it fun.

"Biden enjoys mocking an opponent he finds so offensive," notes the report.
