President Donald Trump on Tuesday offered his "total endorsement" of a MAGA-aligned congressman who has a history of making antisemitic statements.

Trump posted on Truth Social that he is endorsing Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) for re-election in the midterm election next year.

"Dr. Paul Gosar has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!" Trump posted.

Trump also lauded Gosar for "doing a fantastic job representing Arizona’s 9th Congressional District."

"A MAGA Warrior, who has been with us from the very beginning, Paul is working hard to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Advance American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our now very Secure Border, SECURE, Support our Brave Military/Veterans, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment," Trump wrote.

Gosar has come under fire from his colleagues for making a series of racist and xenophobic remarks.

Gosar was condemned alongside Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) by their Republican colleagues in 2022 for appearing at a conference hosted by a white nationalist group.

In 2024, the Arizona Mirror found that multiple of Gosar's staffers are "groypers," a term used to identify followers of infamous antisemite Nick Fuentes.

Later that year, the publication found that Gosar's newsletter was promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories.
