President Donald Trump's rule affecting mail-in ballots was dealt another setback after a federal judge implemented an injunction against it.
According to reporting on Friday, Judge Indira Talwani handed down a preliminary injunction blocking the U.S. Postal Service from setting in motion portions of its new mail-in ballot rule. Talwani had previously handed down a restraining order, but Talwani's ruling replaced her restraining order. Talwani's latest ruling forces appeals to begin anew, legal analyst Chris Geidner noted.
