President Donald Trump kicked off 2026 by shopping for Italian marble in Florida despite the ongoing affordability crisis.

"The pool is told that POTUS is shopping at Arc Stone & Tile in an industrial area of Lake Worth off of I-95," Cat Zakrzewski reported on Friday for the White House press pool. "The pool is still holding in vans outside the store and has not yet seen POTUS."

Trump recently boasted about refurbishing the White House with marble floors. The president also said he was spending time selecting marble armrests for the Kennedy Center.
