After his event in Iowa Sunday afternoon, Donald Trump closed his evening with a rant against Judge Arthur Engoron, who he claims he'll appear before in court Monday morning.
In his attack, Trump explained he's going to court "to fight for my name and reputation against a corrupt and racist Attorney General, Letitia James, who campaigned on 'getting Trump,' and a Trump Hating Judge (sic) who is unfair, unhinged, and vicious in his PURSUIT (sic) of me."
Trump has been attacking Judge Engoron since he lost the majority of the charges against his company last week in court. Among Trump's issues is that Engoron estimates Mar-a-Lago to be worth less than Trump thinks it is. In his complaints, Trump says the judge placed the value at $18 million. In fact, the estimation was somewhere between $18 million and $27.4 million.
POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?
Trump shared his son Eric's social media posts last week claiming that the Florida country club was worth over $1 billion, and has reiterated as much himself.
"He values Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, at 18 Million Dollars, when it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount. His valuations are FRAUDULENT (sic) in pursuit of Election Interference, (sic) and worse. THIS WHOLE CASE IS SHAM!!! See you in Court - Monday morning," he proclaimed.
Fifty times $18 million is $900 million. One hundred times $18 million is $1.8 billion.
Trump returned to the social media site moments later for another post.
"The judge, Arthur Engoron refuses to accept our big win in the court of appeals, nullifying much of the case that the racist Attorney General of New York, Letitia James has charged us with. Nobody can believe it!"
Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen said that he's saying there's just a 20 percent chance Trump shows up in court.
