Donald Trump will skip the third GOP presidential debate to hold a huge campaign rally in a neighboring town, he announced Friday.
The former president said he’ll be speaking to a crowd of MAGA devotees in Hialeah, Florida, on the same evening that his competitors debate each other in Miami.
Trump has yet to attend any of the Republican Party-sanctioned debates, and has instead urged the RNC to cancel them “to refocus its manpower and money on preventing Democrats’ efforts to steal the 2024 election.”
POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?
As the second debate took place, Trump spoke to crowds of autoworkers in Michigan while the debate took place, while he sat down for an interview with Tucker Carlson during the first.
The Miami debate and Trump’s rally are scheduled to take place on Nov. 8.
