Co-hosts at "The View" got into a heated debate Monday as they talked about threats from Donald Trump against his perceived foes.
During an interview with "Meet the Press" Sunday, Trump had argued that the members of the Jan. 6 investigatory committee belong in jail. "The Views" Sara Haines dismissed the comments, saying that Trump made the same threat against Hillary Clinton and never delivered, with Whoopi Goldberg adding that people shouldn't panic — and said that there would be time for that.

"Listen, he makes lots and lots and lots of noise," said Goldberg. "He says he's going to do all these things, and he does this, and I say this — I try to say it at least once a week. He does this to keep you all in a panic. He does it to make y'all do this and talk about him, and it's so terrible."
She told viewers that from now until Inauguration Day, people should "be with our families, be with our kids, do our jobs, make sure our checks don't bounce, make sure that we are taking care of ourselves and our families."
But former Republican strategist Ana Navarro disagreed.
"I told you last week I disagree with you when you say that because we have the luxury of saying that because we're legal," said Navarro. "We are successful. We are — listen, if you are an illegal immigrant in this country, you're not going to be not in a panic. If you are a woman working for the Department of Defense, you have a right to be in a panic."
Goldberg said that Navarro was keeping people up in arms when they didn't have to be.
"I'm telling people to prepare, Whoopi. I'm telling people to prepare," said Navarro.
"Winter is here," Goldberg said, talking over Navarro. "Winter has been with us, and my point is we can lay down and do nothing for the next 15 days and be freaked out for the next four or two years."
Navarro reiterated her argument that people don't have the means and power to fight the power of Trump's government.
