Donald Trump on Wednesday was ridiculed for bragging that he is cognitively superior now than he was 20 years ago.
Trump at a rally in New Hampshire stated that he was better off in his brain than he was two decades ago, even going as far as to describe a basic cognitive test he says he once received.
"I feel like I'm about 35 years old," the former president said at the New Hampshire event. "I actually feel better now than I did 30 years ago... I think cognitively I'm better than I was 20 years ago. I don't know why."
The internet was quick to chime in. Trump biographer Tim O'Brien debunked the notion from his own personal experience.
"Psssst: He's not," O'Brien said in response to Trump's claim. "I flew around with him in his plane and walked his golf courses with him 20 years ago."

O'Brien then added:
"Not very cognitively together then. Much less cognitively better now."
Conservative attorney George Conway also agreed with O'Brien. Conway, a frequent critic of Trump, added:
"Indeed. And he clearly has deteriorated over the past three years."
"This will become apparent to the public as they begin to see more of him this year," Conway added. "He has greatly benefitted from not being in the public eye in 2021-23."
Political commentator Keith Olbermann also weighed in, simply saying, "Better than what."
Popular account Spiro's Ghost also said Trump is "insane" for making the claim.
"He fears this topic so much its why he can't help spew out random craziness like this for no reason," the account wrote. "He is conspicuously misfiring more than ever lately, separate from his clear neurological issues with walking/balance and now his multiple hand wounds today."
