Donald Trump wants all African Americans to know that his family did not own slaves.

The former president highlighted a Reuters investigation that revealed Tuesday that every living American president is descended from slavers – apart from him.

And he thinks the article should be required reading for all African Americans.

“President Joe Biden and every living former U.S. president – except Donald Trump – are direct descendants of slaveholders: Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and – through his white mother’s side – Barack Obama,” Trump said on Truth Social, referencing the article.

“I hope that every African American in our Country is reading this right now. REMEMBER!”

The Reuters story also commented that Trump banned funding for training that described the U.S. as “fundamentally racist.”
