President Donald Trump lashed out at a reporter from Voice of America, which failed Arizona Republican candidate Kari Lake advises.

During a Wednesday meeting in the Oval Office, Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin said his country backed a two-state solution to end the conflict between Israel and Palestinians.

A Voice of America reporter followed up with a question about Trump's plan to force Palestinians to leave the Gaza Strip so the United States could take ownership and develop the land.

"What about the president's plans to expel Palestinians out of Gaza?" the reporter asked. "Are you discussing that with him and giving him your opinion?"

"Nobody's expelling any Palestinians," Trump interrupted despite his previous claims.

"Who are you with?" the president demanded to know.

"I'm with Voice of America, sir," the reporter replied.

"Oh, no wonder," Trump scoffed.

In December, Trump announced that he had picked Lake as the director of Voice of America. She currently serves as a special adviser to VOA while awaiting the authority to take over from the International Broadcasting Advisory Board, which is run by L. Brent Bozell, founder of the conservative watchdog Media Research Center.
