During an appearance on Fox News this Wednesday, Tulsi Gabbard said she'd be "open" to being Donald Trump's 2024 running mate.
"I'd be open to that conversation," Gabbard said on Fox & Friends. "My mission in life is to serve our country and serve the American people and find the best way to be able to do that."
Gabbard was asked to respond to a comment from economist Stephen Moore, who said that many Trump supporters want Gabbard as Trump's vice president.

As Newsweek points out, Trump has yet to announce a pick for a running mate, although he's dropped hints during appearances on cable news and mentioned South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.
"I called Tim Scott this week. A lot of people like Tim Scott. I called him, and I said, 'You're a much better candidate for me than you are for yourself,'" Trump said. "Kristi Noem has been incredible fighting for me. She said, 'I'd never run against him because I can't beat him.' That was a very nice thing to say."
